to the15th annual Family History Day at the California State Archives.

Your day begins with a welcome from California State Archivist, Nancy Lenoil, and keynote address by Kathryn Marshall. The Exhibit Hall on the 4th floor of the Archives will feature displays by genealogical, historical, and lineage societies offering a variety of research information and materials.

Take advantage of over 25 free classes taught by experts on family history research. Our panel discussion on library and archival sources brings together four perspectives sharing where you can access data. Take a guided tour of the Archives, or visit the California Museum, which extends free admission to Family History Day participants.

Whether you've just started your investigation or are an experienced researcher, Family History Day 2013 offers something for every skill level. Beginners will find "how-to" information and resources, and advanced researchers can enlist the aid of experienced genealogists and historians .
